an
effort
to
provide
its
citizens
with
exceptional
e-government
solutions,
Georgetown
County
has
purchased
the
EGS
Real
Property,
Payments,
Parks
&
Recreations,
and
Planning
programs
offered
by
Lyles
Data
Systems,
Inc.
EGS
Real
Property
provides
the
citizens
of
Georgetown
access
to
assessor
information
including
real
property,
comparable
sales,
and
property
cards
via
the
Internet.
Using
this
program,
citizens
can
look
up
extensive
property
information
including
ownership,
assessments,
and
tax
payments.
Property
cards
and
parcel
reports
are
available
for
printing,
and
comparable
sales
information
can
be
easily
searched.
Using
EGS
Payments
programs,
citizens
can
make
tax
payments,
payments
to
court
systems,
and
payments
to
the
Georgetown
County
Water
and
Sewer
District.
Citizens
will
have
the
convenience
of
paying
many
different
types
of
bills,
fines,
and
fees
online,
including:
- e-Tax
Payments
-
Citizens
can
review
and
pay
their
personal
property,
real
property,
and
automobile
tax
bills
online.
Using
this
program,
citizens
can
look
up
their
tax
bills
and
make
secure
payments
online
using
an
e-check,
credit
card,
or
debit
card.
An
address
change
request
form
is
also
available
for
submission.
- Family
Court
Payments
–
Alimony
and
child
support
payments
can
be
made
via
the
Internet
using
this
program,
and
recipients
can
view
the
payment
history.
The
program
can
accept
full
and
partial
payments.
- Magistrate’s
Court
Fees
–
Fees
due
for
claims
filed
in
Magistrate’s
Court
can
be
paid
online.
- Criminal
Court
Fines
–
Fines
and
fees
levied
by
the
criminal
court,
including
parking
tickets
and
traffic
violations,
can
be
paid
using
this
program.
- Water
and
Sewer
Fees
–
Citizens
can
also
pay
bills
owed
to
the
Georgetown
County
Water
and
Sewer
District
on
the
Internet.
EGS
Parks
&
Recreation
pProvides
the
citizens
of
Georgetown
county
online
access
to
classes
sponsored
by
the
County’s
Parks
&
Recreation
service.
Citizens
can
register
for
classes,
pay
fees
online,
and
sign
up
to
receive
e-mail
announcements.
The
EGS
Planning
program
is
currently
in
the
early
stages
of
development.
When
implemented,
it
will
offer
citizens
access
to
electronic
building
permits,
contractor’s
licenses,
and
other
important
planning
office
documents.
Georgetown
County
plans
to
add
this
new
product
to
its
e-government
solutions
when
development
is
complete.

e-government
options
to
county
citizens.
Coupled
with
Leslie’s
leadership
and
determination,
the
implementation
of
these
EGS
offerings
will
greatly
minimize
workloads
and
cut
call
volumes
in
Georgetown
County
offices
while
providing
valuable
services
to
the
public.
