Aiken County has purchased the EGS e-Tax Payment application, and has begun implementation. The EGS e-Tax Payment application is part of our new suite of products within our latest Version. The latest version is written completely in Java, which has made EGS more flexible with various technologies and has allowed EGS to reduce license costs. Aiken County is currently implementing our latest version of EGS Real Property as well, and should be live in the Summer  of 2004.

Based on the leadership of Johnny Walton, Aiken County’s Information Technology Director, the county will be able to allow the EGS e-Tax Payment technology to minimize workloads for tax payments, call volumes, bank reconciliation times, and mail processing.
