The Electronic Government Solutions (EGS) Family Court product has been developed for family court agencies to assist in the collection of specific case record data from multiple platforms via the Internet. EGS- Family Court provides real-time case information to be assimilated from various data sources and compiled into a format to be viewed via the Internet. In the past, information was often manually collected from one or more data resources then re-entered into a database to be accessed by an end-user. This process was not only time consuming, it also afforded the opportunity for mistakes and delays. With EGS- Family Court, the information is current and time delays are eliminated. Once a search is initiated by entering the assigned case number, the application will return all search results of the specific record requested. Once the desired record has been selected, the appropriate information will be served from the AS/400 iSeries through the web and displayed on the end users computer using a GUI interface.
